Richard Kolosky is a San Francisco-based art dealer and gallery owner with nearly a decade of experience in the field. Prior to beginning a career in art exchange, Richard Kolosky served as general manager of Westlake Village, California's Rusnak Auto Group, where he oversaw day-to-day operations.
In 2009 Richard Kolosky became a partner with Beverly Hills Art Exchange, where he facilitated sales and acquisitions of prominent pieces by world-renowned artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, and Modigliani. He maintained his partner role with the company for seven years and, from late 2014 to early 2016, also served as senior vice president of San Francisco's Montgomery Gallery. In 2015 the gallery achieved sales of over $8 million, which marked an 800 percent increase over the previous year.
Since 2016 Mr. Kolosky has managed sales, marketing, acquisitions, and other financial responsibilities as president of Townsend Fine Art, a San Francisco-based gallery that specializes in post-war and contemporary paintings and sculptures. In an effort to build the gallery’s catalog, Mr. Kolosky regularly attends art fairs in Miami, New York, Los Angeles, London, and Hong Kong.
