I’m Richard, a cybersecurity consultant manager with over a decade of experience driving secure, scalable solutions across cloud environments and enterprise platforms. I specialize in SIEM optimization, cloud security compliance, and cross-functional leadership helping organizations turn complex data into actionable insights.

My academic journey began with an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Columbus State Community College, followed by a Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. I’m currently completing my MBA in IT Management at WGU, where I’ve strengthened key competencies in financial management, organizational performance, and data-driven decision making. These skills shaped my approach during the business simulation and continue to guide how I lead cybersecurity initiatives with strategic foresight and operational discipline.

Professionally, I lead cybersecurity initiatives at Rita Consulting, where I architect and manage Splunk deployments across Windows, Linux, and AWS environments. I’ve built dashboards, onboarded data sources, and driven compliance through CIM alignment and log analysis. Prior to this, I served as a Security Admin at Fiserv, where I partnered with business units to design SIEM solutions and improve customer experience through data-driven dashboards. My foundational experience at iQor involved monitoring SIEM platforms, conducting vulnerability assessments, and promoting enterprise-wide security awareness.
