Richard Bosworth

Metairie, Louisiana

Hello, my name is Richard Luis Bosworth. I was born in New Orleans in 1980 and raised in Luling throughout High School. Cultivating my talents, my parents pushed me to explore my passions in life, which led me to the talented drama program at Hahnville and to the Senior Studio at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. Here I studied literature and acting with Dr. Henry Hoffman, voice and breathing with Janet Shea, and movement with Ray Vrazel. This is where I started my acting career.

Recently, I am involved with the non-profit organizatioin NOLA Voice Talent Foundation, who holds voice-over workshops every week thruought the Gulf South. I was also involved in the production of "Alien on a Savage Planet", directed by Shena Mullins, as an actor, voice actor, and crew member. After taking an actors' intensive at The Broken Leg Acting Studio in Baton Rouge with the wonderful Ashton Leigh(2013), I landed an agent in Randi McClendon at Impact Modeling and Talent Agency.

Among other things, I am getting involved with the NOCCA Alumni Association, heading up the Social Media Committee, donating my voice for WRBH, the reading radio, and acting in The Murder Mystery Dinner Theater company. Recently I have been involved in gathering a team and producing for the New Orleans 48 Film competition. The festival kicks off in late June 2014.

Today I am looking to get my grubby little paws into whatever it is I can regarding the entertainment industry, expand my resume, gain some experience and have some fun!!! Feel free to contact me through this site or Twitter or Facebook regarding anything entertainment oriented...especially acting...see ya around!!!
