I have been at AOL for over 10 years, though in many different roles,

from developer to product manager and all the good stuff in-between.

I manage the UK (and European) product set for the

Applications and Commerce group,ensuring that we launch products that

are fully localised, relevant to the market and are capable of beating the

internet!

To achieve this I like to concentrate on the simple stuff - focussing on

solving user problems and not what the newest technology allows us to do...

otherwise its just putting the cart before the horse! I truly believe that a

user should be able to achieve what they are trying to achieve without

really having to think about it - it should just be that easy!
