Richard Maloof, image consultant, author, and philanthropist, professes that a well-groomed, fashion forward thinking man is not just an "easy on the eyes" quality, but more importantly, it's a remarkable confidence builder—and every woman loves a confident man!

As an expert image consultant, Richard penned his extensive knowledge and experience in the first of a series of self-image improvement books titled, DETAILED: The Complete Man's Guide To Personal Grooming. DETAILED is a manual of techniques, rules, and opinions for men's hair care, skincare, and nails. Richard further enlightens the reader on the correlation between proper grooming and self-esteem. Richard's motto: "When you feel and look your best, you perform well . . . it's that simple!"

Richard was born on November 7, 1972 in Staten Island, NY. At the age of 2, his family moved to Peoria, Illinois to be with their grandparents. It was in this vibrant riverfront community that Richard's grooming obsession emerged at a very early age. After high school graduation, Richard was accepted to Bradley University of Illinois where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications in 1996. For 12 years, Richard managed and consulted advertising departments of popular newspapers including, The Birmingham News and The Houston Chronicle which ranks in the top ten largest newspapers in the United States. During this time, Richard also modeled for numerous print magazines, and in 2010 he made a television modeling appearance on E! Entertainment. In 2012, Richard made two appearances on the Red Carpet in Beverly Hills to promote DETAILED and his image consulting enterprise. Richard is also the co-founder of Our Children's Voice, an adolescent life coaching center in San Diego, CA that provides unique personal coaching and workshops for parents & children.

Beverly Hills salon owner, Giuseppe Franco, also known as, "Stylist to the Stars", states in his foreword in DETAILED, "I have to be honest, even I learned a few things from Richard, and I thought I was thorough!" Giuseppe also appeared in a reel that was shot while styling one of Richard's clients.
