We all have a backstory. Here's mine:

Raised in TN, youngest of 3 boys by an amazing Single Mom. I learned work ethic from her.

Self-taught the game of tennis. Never took a lesson. Went on to Letter in H.S.

Little known fact: I lost 50 lbs in 2.5 months as a Junior in H.S. Changed my life. Probably saved it, too.

Educated at UT-Knoxville w/ a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. Business Minor.

I love food. Good food. And people. Good people.

Earned Graduate Banking School Diploma.

Artistic. I can draw. Love photography. Been told I have an 'eye' for it. Don't own a 'real' camera. All shots taken on Android or iPhone. My Virtual Mentor is Jeremy Cowart of See University.

*For example, since every picture 'has a backstory'. Take my profile pic here. 3 Disaster Relief Missionaries on location in Joplin, MO. Up at the crack of dawn in March 2012, to rebuild houses destroyed from the 2011 EF-5 tornado.

Been on 6 Tornado Disaster Relief Trips: 4 to Joplin, MO (2011/2012), 1 to Branson, MO (2012) and 1 to Moore, OK (2013). Led 3 of those. Experienced the wrath of an EF-4 tornado when I was 17...from 75 yards away. Dream Job: Storm Chaser.

As a result, I am writing my 1st manuscript. Due out 2017. I blog when I can.

Almost drowned in riptides twice: 1986 & 2013.

Voracious reader. Huge fan of Leadership and Personal Development. I follow the latest Thought Leaders; Darren Hardy and John Maxwell.

Building my own Personal Platform to inspire and influence others through photography or words of encouragement. Huge fan of Michael Hyatt of Platform University.
