Richard McCorry
Executive Leadership in Michigan
A Michigan-based international operating executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across multiple industries, Richard McCorry serves as President & Co-owner of Production Spring, where he oversees all the functions and defines the strategic paths for the global automotive OEM supplier. Prior to purchasing part of the Troy, Michigan-based enterprise in 2016, Richard McCorry managed manufacturing operations in 30 different countries. Of note, he restructured a distressed manufacturing business with $500 million in annual revenue and a $44 million annual loss, and in just 18 months generated the first profit the business unit had seen in 4 years. Moreover, while President and CEO of H.C. Starck's Fabricated Products Group, he oversaw EBITDA growth of 350 percent and generated free cash flows of $60 million during a three-year period during the global economic slowdown in 2007/2008.
In addition to these companies, Mr. McCorry has held executive leadership or advisory roles with Global Titanium, Charlesbank Capital, and Textron, Inc., among others. He spent the first 12 years of his career in progressive roles with Lear Corporation. Since 2004, he has been seated on the Board of Formae, LLC, a medical implant start-up company.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University and is a graduate of the Global Executive Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He has been granted two US patents and one International patent.
