I grew up in Portland, Maine - a beautiful place in the summer. But I hated the cold of winter so, naturally, I traded it for the tornadoes, floods and heat of Texas. There, I learned how to write software and raise a family. Sometimes I pine for the old days. That's because I have forgotten what winter is like.
