Richard Monoson serves as a loan officer with Grand Avenue Realty and Lending in Sherman Oaks, California. In this position, he focuses on home equity conversion mortgages. When he receives a new client, Richard Monoson meets with them in their homes to discuss financial goals, review available products, and identify the best course of action. Prior to assuming this position, he served as a chiropractor in Encino, California. In this role, he took a similar approach of consulting with patients about lifestyle, nutrition, and physical concerns to create and execute a personalized treatment program.

As an undergraduate, Richard Monoson studied at Seton Hall University on an athletic scholarship. He later attended California State University Northridge. He then attended Cleveland College of Chiropractic with his bachelor of science and doctorate. In addition, he pursued postgraduate work in clinical nutrition and athletic injuries.

Recreationally, Richard Monoson keeps busy by running, going to the gym, and playing street hockey with a local league. In the 1980s, he won a number of bodybuilding competitions, including Mr. Pacific Coast Bodybuilding and Mr. California Natural Bodybuilding.
