Richard Petriccione

The recipient of a bachelor's degree in political science from Iona College, Richard Petriccione subsequently began working as an assistant coach for the school's men's basketball team. During his five years in this position, Richard "Rich" Petriccione helped guide the team to three conference championships and two NCAA tournament entries. He later served a similar role with Florida State University and, in 1989, was hired as director of athletics at his alma mater.
During his 12 years spent as athletic director at Iona College, Rich Petriccione oversaw 21 Division-I programs, as well as multiple departments comprised of 65 employees. He was also a cornerstone of the Iona Athletics Fundraising Goal Club. Concurrently, he obtained a master's degree in organizational communication from the school. From 2001 to 2010, he served as the school's vice president for advancement and external affairs, and earned a PhD in educational leadership from Fordham University.
More recently, Mr. Petriccione held executive roles with White Plains Hospital, the NY/NJ Snowflake Youth Foundation, and the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee. As of 2015, he has worked with nonprofit executives, school leaders, and athletic directors on major fundraising projects through his role as president of Concourse Consulting.
