Richard Pybus is one of those rare people who can say he is a coach, educator, speaker and high performance consultant. His consulting firm Optimal Performance has attracted clients such as First National Bank ( South Africa ) Cricket South Africa, Cricket West Indies, Bangladesh Cricket Board, Pakistan Cricket Board, Cape Cobras, Titans, Border Cricket, Border Rugby.
His work with Cricket West Indies led them to achieving a unique feat in the history of international cricket, winning three world cups in 2016, across Mens, Womens and U19 Teams.
His honours degree is in cultural studies, majoring in literature, history, media, film and communications.
His post grad in education focuses on media studies and communication.

He is two time recipient of the South African Cricket Coach of the Year Award.
