Richard Raley

In the years since he helped found the company in 2003, Richard Raley has built American United Logistics into a successful venture with around 100 employees. During Richard Raley’s continued tenure as President, this registered Kuwaiti company has grown to be worth millions of dollars while focusing its service on United States Armed Forces clients in Kuwait and Iraq. During these same years, American United Logistics, or AUL, developed strong professional alliances with other companies through Mr. Raley’s leadership and initiative. One of Ingersoll-Rand’s subsidiaries, Thermo King, chooses AUL as its sales and service representative for equipment within the territory of Iraq. Working with the Terex Corporation of the Middle East/Europe, Richard Raley helped earn AUL’s designation as this company’s Tower Light Set distribution and service agent for operations within the same territory. Richard Raley also developed ties with Texcalibur, which has since named AUL the sole marketer for certified ballistic steel from their supply mills within the United States and also the sole international sales and maintenance agent for armored vehicle kits. While under Richard Raley’s direction, AUL expanded the set of products it deals with. These now include generators and air compressors, electric substations and transformers, and safety and personnel protection equipment. Through AUL, Richard Raley also offers water purification and desalination equipment; construction materials, including asphalts, cement, steel, and aggregates; and heavy construction equipment, including forklifts, scissor booms, bulldozers, and cranes. Richard Raley also coordinates repair and maintenance services for a variety of products, including storage facilities. Under contract with KBR, Richard Raley sent a team of AUL technicians and specialists to repair and restencil damaged storage containers. After the successful completion of this task, AUL received a similar assignment from the United States Army for an ongoing maintenance project at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait. Mr. Raley’s employees finish an average of 25 containers per day. A successful veteran of emerging companies, Richard Raley has developed, owned, and operated a number of startups.
