Leading the Torontoism Team at Sotheby's International Realty Canada, Richard is consistently within the top 1% of the Toronto Real Estate Board's 40,000 members. He is designated as an ABR, e-PRO and a CIPS. A Director-at-Large for the Canadian Real Estate Association, he also sits on two committees at National Association of REALTORS in the U.S.. He is often a speaker and writer about the use of "Technology in Real Estate" as well as "The International Real Estate Market", is Vice-President of the Toronto Chapter of AREAA, the Asian Real Estate Association of America and was one of the founders of REBarCampTO. Inman News named him one of the "Top 100 Most Influential people in Real Estate for 2013".
