I'm a User Experience Designer with interest in mobile apps, quality assurance, human factors and mobile web. I strive to develop innovative, simple and effective features along with optimizing current products based on customers' needs and their overall experience.
I work as an Entrance Attendant at Ray Meyers Fitness Center and a Handler at FedEx. Both jobs allow me to interact with people on different levels, such as, managers/supervisiors, clients, employees, engineers, etc. Having the ability to communicate and understand where people are coming from brings a people-oriented but multi-perspective skills to my background.
I recieved my Bachelors of Science in Software Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Flordia. During my last summer at Embry-Riddle, I was selected to be an intern at ESPN Inc. in Bristol, Connecticut. This internship experience introduced me to the idea of user-centered design, therefore, I chose to further my education in this field. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Human-Computer Interaction at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
