Richard J. Stachura

Hi my name is Richard J. Stachura. As a youngster I've always showed an interest in illustrating and painting, devoting all of my time toward developing a skill in the arts. I've always been a day dreamer in school and found it hard to concentrate on textbooks that didn't interest me. I could read a book while day dreaming about something else I'd rather be doing. I am a visual person and learner, and pretty much watch the stories unfold in my head. I put them down on paper, but I just wish that I had taken typing instead of woodshop in school; I'd have most of my novels done by now. Now that I'm older I have penned various short stories, novels, independent shorts, and full-feature screenplays. My most recent accomplishments are a novel called A Single Yesterday, which can be found on Amazon.com and an independent short film Despair, which I wrote, produced and directed in 2011, that was accepted to the 2011 One Forest Film Festival - New York City.
