Richard Yax

A human recourses (HR) professional with extensive sales training, Richard Yax currently serves as a director with the Houston, Texas, HR advisory firm Buck Consultants. Concentrating his efforts in Buck Consultants’ Health and Productivity Practice, he has established himself as a widely recognized expert on the subject of healthcare reform. Richard Yax also plays a prominent role in Buck’s private healthcare exchange RightOpt.

Before joining the Buck team in May of 2013, Mr. Yax served as an employee benefits practice leader and vice president of the South Central Partnership at Houston-based Marsh & McLennan Companies. He also served for eight years as an assistant vice president at Aon Consulting in Austin, Texas, where he oversaw business development and new business acquisition. Outside of the professional arena, Richard Yax supports the charitable efforts of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention and the Star of Hope mission of Houston.
