RICHARD A. ZELONIS

Throughout my experiences I have encountered, including my diverse education and work experience, leadership roles as early as high school, US Armed Forces military, college and various community service activities, I have had the opportunity to develop new skills and improve others which have made me a well-rounded individual, ready for the business world. I was born in Madrid, Spain in 1963, lived in Madrid, Spain until 1980.

As an Armed Forces dependent in Torrejon AB, I have been exposed to different cultural environments. Experiencing different school systems and in the military (Iraq, Bosnia, Morocco, Spain, France, Brazil, Colombia and the United states) and work settings, I have developed skills and values such as active listening, tolerance, and respect for others. In addition, during the years spent at Torrejon AB High School as an Armed Forces dependent student away from my family, I have learned to become independent and responsible, early in life. I graduated from Centro Union High School in El Centro, California in 1981.

I am a Bilingual Professional that is experienced in Business Management, Development and Marketing with over 22 years of experience working in various capacities, building from the ground up with focus on structuring and marketing for small business owners. I have been playing a vital role in the growth and overall performance of small businesses and bringing expertise to assist them in their decision making, strategy design, resource planning, and research on clients, competitors, etc.

Passionate about earning the trust and confidence of those I work with. I believe that Excellence is a standard, not a goal. I am multi-talented, highly trained, and experienced. I’m an outgoing professional who combines an excellent academic background with vast national and international experience.
