Richard Brady

During the past fourteen years I have been lucky to have worked on hugely varying projects for some very interesting customers and employers. I have designed for international brands such as Nokia, KPMG, tellabs, skillsoft, Synopsys and The Bromley Group. I have lectured in Africa, United Kingdom and the Republic Of Ireland and have been fortunate to have collaborated with designers worldwide. I have been awarded a Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Graphic, Product and Interactive Design, a post graduate Diploma in Management and I have been recognised by the Arts Council of Ireland for excellence in graphic design.

My educational background is in industrial design. Covering visual and physical usability, industrial design has thought me how to attract attention, evoke caution where appropriate, and instil a passion for a product, at first glance. The lateral problem solving, interaction and visual design elements of product design have thought me to creatively imagine structure and flow, this has helped develop strong analytical skills and a high degree of rigour, especially for complex systems. As well as these design practices, my experience supporting end users and designing large technological systems has afforded me a broad tool-set for identifying problems and managing the development of successful solutions.

I have a passion for design and creative problem solving and am always looking for ways to improve products and processes using the most relevant technologies.
