My Profession:

Polysomnography / Sleep Technician/ RPSGT/RST

I graduated from Baker college in June 2011

with a degree in Polysomnography. I now work for

Beaumont sleep evaluation services and Detroit Receiving

Hospital sleep disorder center. My focus

now is to my patient and to solving their sleep

disorder. I love what I do, and my commitment

to this field and to my patients I have are clear

and remains a constant goal.

My technical skills and ability to

communicate with others make me

a valuable asset to any sleep lab.

My knowledge in the field includes;

  • Patient Preparation using the International

10 - 20 System

  • The ability to perform PSG, CPAP, Bi-Level,

MSLT, and MWT studies

  • Performing positive airway pressure with my

patient & education

  • Electrocardiogram and artifact recognition
  • Scoring of sleep studies per AASM guidelines
  • Experience with Biologic, Embla, Cadwell and Polysmith sleep systems.

My Life:

My life is filled with outdoor adventures

and travel. My persistant optimism lends to

making many friends and influencing people

of all walks of life. I love my life and it shows

in my daily interactions and the connections

I make with everyday friends and strangers.

I serve as an example of what a life should be,

and I am happy to share it with the world.
