Richard Lockwood

San Francisco Bay Area, California

A Real Estate professional for over 10 years, I'm currently working for RE/MAX Gold after 9 years with Prudential California Realty.

I love helping people realize the "American Dream" of home ownership, I achieved several awards while working over the years as a "Top Listing " and "Top Producing" agent. I was a manager / trainer for three years while employed at Prudential.

I worked with a non profit organization for 9 years, the last 5 years as the president of the organization. We raised over $300,000 for catholic schools in the Vallejo/Benicia area. We purchased and re-sold "Scrip" (Gift Certificates) direct from stores and businesses in bulk at a discount. The discount became the profit that was raised for the schools

I also have a background in accounting, working as a bookkeeper, utilizing QuickBooks, Excel and several other software programs for the past twenty years.

I worked in the transportation field as a teamster transporting new vehicles and working for Federal Express for nearly 20 years.

My biggest love is my family / pets, my wife of 28 years, four children, three grandchildren, two cats and a bunny named "Buster". The next thing is my sports teams: "Oakland Athletics" are at the top of the list as I've been a fan since I was 11 years old (1971). I've survived the bad years and cherished the good years. My other teams are: The "Golden State Warriors" and "San Francisco 49ers".

When I was younger my love was "Bowling". I was 13 years old, on a rainy day January 5, 1974 when I was watching a bowling match on TV, Jim Stefanich bowled the third perfect game on national television that day and I knew at that time it was something I wanted to do. Nearly 3 years later, I bowled my 1st perfect "300" game. I ended my bowling career with 9 perfect games, 2 "800" series and a 221 average. That was over 25 years ago and I haven't gone back.
