Rich Markus

Rich is a freelance sales/marketing/business development professional, who specializes in helping start-ups and early growth (mostly digital) companies develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.

His work includes everything from developing messaging and digital/print collateral, to building and then conducting comprehensive sales/business development plans. Owner/operator of In-Place Media (www.in-placemedia.com), he's worked with companies such as TripIt.com, Toura, Front Porch, TriplePundit.com, Sustainable Industries, Common Sense Media (CSMAds.com), and others.

Rich's other professional passion is senior care. Certified in California as both an RCFE (residential care facility for the elderly) Administrator and a CNA (certified nursing assistant), he's building a base of experience and knowledge to intelligently enter the business of senior care.

Rich lives with his wife Lauralee and dog Cashmere amongst the tall pines and fresh air of the central Sierra Nevadas, about three hours due east of San Francisco.
