Rich Matta is an accomplished software executive with over two decades of experience in the design, management, and sale of innovative software products. Over the course of his career, Rich Matta has leveraged his knowledge of software engineering, customer relationship management, and business leadership to guide revenue growth at multiple firms serving both the enterprise and consumer sectors.

After earning a BA in economics with high honors from Pomona College, Rich Matta launched his career as a systems analyst at Deloitte Consulting. He quickly rose through the ranks to become a senior consultant and manager, eventually leading European client engagements as a participant in the firm’s Global Career Development Program.

In 2000, Mr. Matta left Deloitte to pursue new opportunities at SupportSoft, a division of Support.com, where he spearheaded the development of innovative telecommunications software products credited with driving over $30M of revenue growth. Rich Matta advanced from the role of product manager to senior director of product development, eventually overseeing an international team of more than 100 engineers and product managers as vice president of engineering. Following the acquisition of SupportSoft by Consona Corporation in 2009, Mr. Matta stayed on-board at Support.com to take on further leadership roles, serving as senior vice president of engineering and general manager of SaaS solutions. Mr. Matta contributed to Support.com's rapid revenue growth to over $89M in 2013.

In 2014, Rich Matta joined Reputation.com, a leading provider of online privacy and reputation management solutions, as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company’s consumer division. In 2016, he led the division’s rebranding to ReputationDefender, which has achieved increased profit margins under his leadership.
