His career as a firefighter and paramedic, working alongside police officers and other first responders, gives him firsthand knowledge of life's tribulations. Rich saw the pain, sorrow, and even the joy and resilience. He is trauma-responsive care certified and a Mental Health First Aid instructor. He understands how people’s experiences influence their behaviors and interactions with others.

For the softer side, Rich pulls from his years of training and teaching. From children to adults, Rich has helped people learn valuable topics. He inspired the students he taught, sometimes using his skills as a musician, puppeteer, and even as a trained circus clown to help engage them.

Rich is a fan of all forms of storytelling. Even as a young boy, he read books both day and night. His mother would hide his flashlight so he couldn't read after bedtime!

Rich has done many things that help him tell your stories. In his career, he served as a public information officer, agency spokesperson, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, educator, curriculum developer, podcast host & producer, and mental health advocate. As a voice actor or narrator, these experiences help him understand the needs of many projects.
