Rick is an expert in Lean principles and philosophies, an experienced consultant, executive coach, and facilitator. In this capacity he has developed a series of methodologies and tools that help clients quickly come to grips with the challenging issues they face. To assist his clients in meeting their goals Rick has designed practical ways to build individuals and teams in areas of leadership, performance consulting, and change management to many organizations ranging from $3B large organizations to $5M small businesses in both the US and Canada, which have included at times very remote client locations. He has consulted with organizations dealing with complex operational issues, initial chartering of new executive teams, major process redesigns, as well as senior management planning retreats. He is often called in to assist organizations in executing their business plans, dealing with conflict, team-related problems at critical times, or process improvements needed to rapidly improve the organizational condition. To support his mission of being a valued contributor to his clients, Rick has more than sixteen years of experience. He has a black-belt in Six Sigma, a Master Black-belt in Lean, and has had the good fortune of learning and being mentored by some of the most profound consultants. This mentoring has helped him offer focused and unique insights that develop valuable relationship skills, increased competitiveness, and drive essential bottom-line results within his client’s organizations. In addition to his consulting experience, Rick has travelled across North America as trainer and facilitator. He also develops customized programs for clients, and has delivered many keynote speeches. As a facilitator and trainer, Rick focuses on helping his clients deliver improved business results through applied leadership development and organizational change processes where individuals “learn by doing”.
