Rick Anaya
A professional leader with experience in various aspects of education, Rick Anaya currently serves as the founder and CEO of the Council for Educational Travel (CET) Management, a group he established in 1994 which supervises a network of educational exchange opportunities for students across the world. At the helm of the company, Mr. Anaya oversees human resources, budgetary concerns, financial allocations, and publicity campaigns. Rick Anaya also leads the architecture of expanding policies, departments, and programs. Since founding CET, Mr. Anaya successfully directed the growth of several affiliate ventures, comprising CETUSA, CET Vancouver, and CET International. He consistently employs skills in international networks and communications as the result of affiliation with academic institutions in more than 50 countries. Under Rick Anaya’s guidance, CET connects students and professionals with a diverse range of enrichment avenues, including high school and community college opportunities, work and travel programs that invite international pupils to explore employment and academia in the United States during four summer months, and internship and trainee options offering applicable experience and sustainable knowledge. CET programs also provide short-term language immersion packages and outbound programs for U.S. residents who wish to teach English or study abroad. CET upholds only the highest caliber of learning standards and holds accreditation from the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel. Integrating a passion for providing exciting routes of study to people in various locales and a talent for professional administration, Rick Anaya continues to strengthen CET. He maintains an active voice in his field as a member of the Alliance for Educational International Cultural Exchange and the World Youth Student & Educational Travel Confederation. Mr. Anaya served with the U.S. Air Force as an Emergency Medical Technician from 1970 to 1974 and completed his studies at the University of New Mexico.
