My name is Rick Carmichael, and I became a follower of Jesus in 1971 when I was a senior in high-school. My goal in life is to love and glorify Him, and to bless the people in my life more each day.
My career started as a science teacher, then migrated to working for the University of Texas, and then to fter working for Apple in Cupertino for about 10 years, I took a layoff package, worked freelance as a web designer and photographer for a while in Santa Cruz, and then in 2007 I "ran away" to Bali to form LuxViz.
My company develops mobile apps, provides very skilled architectural photography, and creates a variety of social media to be used in promoting indulgent luxury travel. (In the 7 years I've been in Bali, we've shot over 100,000 photos of the most luxurious villas and hotels in this area.)
