Rickie G. Rush, I'm the Senior Pastor of the Inspiring Body of Christ Church. An internationally acclaimed speaker, teacher, and master illustrator, I provide an engaging and humorous way in which to simplify the Word of God.

I founded the Inspiring Body of Christ Church in 1990 and nurtured the ministry from under 50 members to over 15,000 today. As pastor of the IBOC church, I ensure that the words of Jesus found in Matthew 4:19: “Follow Me and I will Make You Fishers of Men” are fulfilled everyday. Part of that was my vision and success creating an aquarium now used as a critical ministry tool that has touched the lives of thousands of people. A dream turned into reality, is our state-of-the-art aquarium at the IBOC church. A featured story on the hit Animal Planet show, Tanked.

My many years of experience teaching theatre arts at local Dallas, Texas high schools enabled me to obtain a Doctor of Divinity degree from Rialto Bible college. My passion for education led me to the founding of the University of Dreams, that enrolls students from six weeks old through second grade.

My desire to spread God’s word has allowed me to communicate that message across continents and cultural boundaries to reach diverse audiences on television, the radio, and through uplifting conferences. Thanks to God’s blessings I’ve published two must-read books, May I Have Your Order, Please? and The Pendulum: Come Out Swinging Through the Difficult Times.

Recognizing a need in the community, I started the Making a Difference (M.A.D.) campaign, challenging church and community members to strive to make a difference in the lives of others and the world each day. The campaign also focuses on prevention of teenage suicide by educating parents and advocating for teenagers in the face of adversity. In 2017, I spearheaded “Heaven’s Headlines,” a recurring candlelight vigil that recognizes and gives name to the children that have unexpectedly passed without recognition due to abuse, neglect, or other unforeseen tragedies.

I am happily married to my loving wife, Beverly and the proud parent of daughterKristian, and grandson Kaiden.
