Ricki Lewis
I am a science writer with a PhD in genetics. I am the author of several college life science textbooks, many magazine articles, and currently write for Medscape. I am most excited about my new book, "The Forever Fix: Gene Therapy and the Boy Who Saved It," from St. Martin's Press, March 2012. I am an adjunct professor at the Alden March Bioethics Institute of Albany Medical College, where I teach "Genethics" online. I'm also a genetic counselor, public speaker, hospice volunteer, and mother of three grown daughters. I love being active and reading. My husband Larry is a chemist.
