Rick Kenny

As President and Chief Executive Officer of his own Roswell, Georgia-based appraisal firm, Kenny & Associates, Rick Kenny analyzes and assesses the value and investment potential of commercial properties for a variety of banks and government agencies, including the Federal Housing Administration and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. As his firm's Chief Appraiser, Mr. Kenny oversees the performance of his firm's staff, and thoroughly reviews all appraisal assignments conducted by his personnel. Prior to starting his own firm, Rick Kenny served as an Appraiser for Weibel & Associates, Inc., an Atlanta, Georgia-based firm. In his role there, Mr. Kenny conducted in-depth reviews of appraisal projects performed by outside parties such as the FDIC and RTC. As a former Appraisal Manager for the FDIC Atlanta Consolidated Office, Mr. Kenny possessed firsthand knowledge of governmental rules and procedures that provided him additional insight into their guidelines, thereby enhancing his ability to perform appraisal reports that are in compliance.

Rick Kenny maintains an active membership in such professional associations as the Appraisal Institute, the National Association of Realtors, the Atlanta Board of Realtors, and the Georgia Association of Assessing Officers. Mr. Kenny holds brokers licenses in both Georgia and Florida and has attained the level of Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the state of Georgia. Mr. Kenny also possesses experience as a guest lecturer and has presented seminars on a variety of subjects, including advanced income property valuation, applied income property valuation, introduction to real estate practices and principles, and introduction to real property appraising.

When away from work, Rick Kenny enjoys spending time outdoors golfing, playing tennis, hiking, and camping. He also regularly attends his local church and proudly supports several missionaries with their work.
