Rick Sims

I am a freelance theatre sound designer and composer from Chicago. I have worked with Lookingglass, Steppenwolf and Goodman Theatre Companies as well as Lifeline, Congo Square, Porchlight and many other smaller Chicago houses. Technically I have experience with myriad house consoles and sound systems as well as editing software. Artistically, I have composed and written music for several musicals while working with such directors as David Schwimmer, Heidi Stillman, Gary Griffin, David Cromer as well as up and comers Stephanie Senior and Jonathan Berry.
