Rick Stough Harrisonburg

Currently serving as owner and primary physician with Emergicare in Harrisonburg, he offers patients high quality, convenient, and affordable urgent care medical services. As the head of the clinic since 1997, Dr. Rick Stough provides orthopedic care, X-rays, lab tests, workers compensation examinations, and minor surgical procedures. Pre-employment physicals and drug screenings are also available. Emergicare is open seven days a week and allows patients to receive prompt medical attention without the necessity of an appointment.

A graduate of Harding University, Dr. Rick Stough received his bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology before earning his Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Arkansas. Working his way through medical school, he operated American Medical Rental, a medical device company leasing products for home care patients. Selling the enterprise in his final year at the University of Arkansas, he earned enough capital to later purchase Emergicare. Dr. Stough is a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Society of Virginia, and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
