Ricky Tsang is a highly experienced marketer with a proven track record on many fronts, including event planning and management, creative programming, artist relations, advertising and promotion, video production and copywriting. A holder of English and Music degrees from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, his career has led him through a wide range of experiences from such organisations as an international record label, Hong Kong’s flagship orchestra and a vibrant boutique event agency.
Ricky was on the curatorial team for the last edition of Heritage Vogue Hollywood Road in 2018, assisting Event Curator. He was also instrumental in the successes of a number of high profile events in recent years, such as “Play Me, I’m Yours” with PMQ (Aug 2015-Aug 2016), “Music in Town” with Sun Hung Kai Properties (Falls of 2015, 2016 & 2017), and “EGGssentially ART!” with Hysan Development (Springs of 2017, 2018 & 2019).
Ricky has directed marketing and publicity campaigns for a number of performing arts programmes, including the re-run of Cantonese musical Sing Out (Lee Hysan Foundation, 2018), world premiere of chamber opera Beauty and Sadness (C5 Projects, 2019), and world premiere of immersive 90-minute opera Carmen | Hong Kong (More Than Musical, 2021).
