Dr. Richard Canizares obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine in June 2007. From July 2007- June 2008 he completed his postgraduate training in general dentistry at the Montefiore Medical Hospital in New York. From June 2008- July 2011 he completed his specialty training in Proshodontics at University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine. After receiving his certificate in Prostodontics, he completed a postgraduate training in Esthetic Dentistry at UCLA, University of California, Los Angeles. He ownes a dental practice in San Juan, Puerto Rico (Dental Esthetic Solutions), specialized in Prosthodontics, Full mouth rehabilitations, Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Canizares strongly believes in patient education, personalized service, and long-term patient relationships. He strives to stay up to date with all the changes occurring in dentistry by undertaking untold hours of continuing education.
