Ricky DeMaio

In 2010 I graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Anthropology with distinction and I am now living in the center of the world — New York City.

I work as a Community Manager at Likeable Media exploring the relationships forged through social media with both consumers and brands. I love working in social media because it encompasses all the aspects of anthropology that I studied in school, but in an exciting and ever-changing setting. I love the engaging two-way-street that digital marketing now encourages.

When I'm not sitting behind my computer screen I'm either reading, looking for a new coffee house, or pretending my life is an untold story from the Harry Potter books.I love learning and connecting with others so feel free to reach out!

Right now I'm also a Freelance Copywriter at LivingSocial. In the past I've worked as a salesman, a counselor, a barista, an administrator, and a mentor.
