Books have always been part of my life. I devour them; savour them and walk about like a zombie if I don't have a new one lined up. I guess becoming an English teacher was a natural next step. I am passionate about my work and about switching kids on to books and to realising their potential. In 1997 I joined Toastmasters. It was life-changing. The freedom that comes from being able to stand in front of a group of people to entertain or motivate them with my words, is amazing! Then I heard about doing online editing and writing. Immediately I knew it: I want to do that! My eyes have really been opened to the possibilities out there. I embarked on a DailyWritingTips writing course and I am so excited about it! I have had some articles accepted by [email protected] and have also been doing some freelance blogs and articles through Upwork.com as well as a fair amount of academic editing.
