Ridhima is an architect from BBDNITM Lucknow (2004-2009), with specialization in architectural conservation from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (2009- 2011) and there after joined CRCI as a conservation architect.

Previously while pursing her bachelors she was associated with Dr. Neeta Das and Ar. Vikram Lall, where she got to learn her basics in conservation, understanding of the historic fabric, built and open spaces and the relevance of conserving the past. She worked as a trainee with Vikas Dilawari and Associates where she was involved in Conservation Planning.

Her interests lies in understanding the relationship between urban spaces, landscape and historic fabric on micro as well as macro level and understanding of how cultural assets and resources can be used as tool for development.

She has been working with and under the privileged guidance of Ms. Gurmeet Rai (Director and Principal Conservation Architect, CRCI) for more than two years now. CRCI has added important projects as part of her experience in the field of conservation. One of which is ‘Cultural Heritage Management and Tourism Development Plan for The Mughal Imperial Highway and The Grand Trunk Road in Punjab’. The second, where she is a built heritage team member for ‘the Cultural policy for the state of Punjab, government of Punjab in collaboration with UNESCO’. Working on both the projects she not only enhanced her understanding on the architectural and urban conservation but also strengthened her perception towards development and sustainability. She realized the existing cultural resources and heritage are one of the pillars for development.
