Rider Biomechanics Coaching & Sports Massage
Annie Colman BSc (Hons), Dip.
I am a Degree Level Qualified Therapist & Biomechanics Specialist from a Sports Science background. After completing uni I worked as a Riding Instructor for 3 years while training for my PC "A" Test and Sports Therapy Exams.
Since then I've been working for over 3 years working in Cobham and Horsley as a human Sports Therapist where i've built up a thriving client base whilst gaining further qualifications in the field of Injury Rehabilitation & Biomechanics. For me learning never stops and I will be qualifying as a Pilates Instructor this summer (2014) and going on the start a masters in Sports Therapy & Rehab hopefully this Autumn. I feel continuing and having enthusiasm for education & learning more is a huge part of being a great therapist.
Since graduating with an Equine & Human Sports Science Degree I have taken time to gain a great deal of experience in the modern Sports Industry. Alongside my private clients I am also the current Team Therapist for the London Lions Pro Basketball Team. I work with them from the Copper Box at the Olympic park from September - April. I hope to bring the best bits of what I've learned from other industries to the world of equitation, which I feel still has a bit of catching up to do.
I am currently working from clinics in Cobham & Horsley (Surrey) and travel to the surrounding area's to see clients. If you would like to contact me to book asession or any other queries please don't hesitate to send me an email.
