Rashid Mustafazade – Journalist, Academician, and Entrepreneur

Born in 1995, Rashid Mustafazade is a journalist, academic, and entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in media and communication. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Baku State University, followed by a master’s degree in Public Relations and Promotion from Istanbul University. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in the same field at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.

Throughout his career, Mustafazade has worked as a special reporter for international media outlets, including Channel One Russia, Rossiya 1, NTV Russia, CGTN China, and ARB Azerbaijan, covering a wide range of news and interviews. Additionally, he serves as the General Director of Mustafazade Group Media & Education & Consulting Agency, providing consultancy services in media and education.

Actively engaged in global conferences and seminars, Mustafazade has conducted academic research on the role of media in interethnic relations. His 2019 publication, Mass Media Influence on Inter-Ethnical Tolerance and National Identity: An Example from Azerbaijan, is a significant academic contribution exploring the relationship between media and identity.

Dedicated to promoting Azerbaijani culture and youth initiatives, he founded and led the Azerbaijan Culture and Solidarity Community at Istanbul University. With extensive experience in management and leadership, he has played a key role in various international projects that highlight the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan and the Turkic world.

An avid traveler, Mustafazade has visited nearly 25 countries, conducting field research on different cultures. His hobbies include horseback riding, billiards, literature, camping, and intellectual games.
