Rashid Mustafazade, born in 1995, is a journalist, political communication researcher, and entrepreneur with more than 10 years of experience in media, communication, and international education. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Baku State University and his Master's degree in Public Relations and Publicity from Istanbul University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Communication at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.
During his career, Mustafazade has worked as a journalist and special correspondent for several international media organizations, including Channel One Russia, Rossiya 1, NTV Russia, CGTN China, and ARB Azerbaijan. He has covered political, social, and international issues and conducted interviews with public figures from different countries.
He is the Founder and General Director of Mustafazade Group Media, Education & Consulting Agency and the Founder of Studylandia, an international education platform that helps students find universities, language courses, scholarships, and study opportunities in different countries. Through these projects, he provides consultancy services in education, media, public relations, and international student recruitment.
His academic interests include political communication, public diplomacy, cultural diplomacy, media effects, national identity, soft power, and Turkic World studies. He has presented research at international conferences and academic events in Türkiye, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and other countries.
Among his academic publications is Mass Media Influence on Inter-Ethnical Tolerance and National Identity: An Example from Azerbaijan, presented at the Maltepe University International Student Congress in 2019. He has also conducted research on digital communication and media policies, including Russia’s Digital Strategies in the Context of Technological Determinism and Data Sovereignty. In addition, he presented a study on Kardeş Yardımı Magazine as a Public Relations Practice at a congress organized by the Turkish World Research Foundation.
Mustafazade is also actively involved in cultural and youth initiatives. He founded and chaired the Azerbaijan Culture and Solidarity Community at Istanbul University, organizing projects that promoted Azerbaijani culture and strengthened cooperation among Turkic communities.
He has traveled to nearly 30 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, gaining experience with different cultures and societies. His hobbies include literature, history, horseback riding, billiards, camping, chess, and cultural studies.
By combining journalism, academic research, entrepreneurship, and international cooperation, Rashid Mustafazade continues to contribute to the fields of political communication, media studies, public diplomacy, and education.
