Riel Carlo Ingeniero

Riel received his bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2010 and became a Research Associate of Dr. Teresita Perez with the Better Mines Project Group of the Ateneo and the Department of Science and Technology. His undergraduate thesis was entitled Isothermal Equilibrium and Kinetic Study on the Adsorption of Copper by Eichhornia crassipes , for which he received the Departmental Research Award from the university. He also co-authored a research paper entitled Heavy Metal Removal Capacity of Eichhornia crassipes which was presented in the 1st National Conference on Bioremediation sponsored by the National Academy of Science and Technology.
