Rikki Endsley is a community manager for AWS Open Source. In the past, she worked as the managing editor for Red Hat Developer; a community architect and analyst for Opensource.com; as an evangelist on the Open Source and Standards team at Red Hat; a freelance tech journalist; a community manager for the USENIX Association; the associate publisher of Linux Pro Magazine, ADMIN, and Ubuntu User; and as the managing editor of Sys Admin magazine.

Rikki has an English degree from the University of Texas (Austin) and a Master’s of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas. For her thesis, she researched how to highlight women’s contributions to open source technologies.
