Riley Sweeney

Riley Sweeney, an Olympia native, was born while his father worked on Maria Cantwell’s first run for State House. Doomed from the start, he has worked as a political organizer on a cross-section of Democratic campaigns in the last seven years. He graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Communication. His debut in the Whatcom political scene was managing Catherine Chambers' city council campaign in 2009. He lives in Bellingham with his lovely partner Bryna Hoffmeister. When he is not reading about politics, organizing political events, or writing about politics, he writes and produces a 1930's detective radio drama with Bryna, plays fancy board games, and frolics in the beautiful Northwest.
