Hey everyone,
I'm Riley. I'm the editor-in-chief of The Daily Texan, the student newspaper of the University of Texas at Austin serving around 50,000 students plus many more faculty and staff. I previously wrote an advice column dealing with common issues for UT students. The column was one of the most popular recurring features on the Daily Texan website. The content I create is thoughtful and witty, a paradoxical synergy of sarcastic cynicism mixed with a goofy carefree mentality.
As editor, I have tried to open up the editorial page to the broadest array of voices possible. To this end, I've brought in perspectives from Greek life and graduate students, two communities that have historically felt neglected by the Texan for different reasons.
