Riley Tucker

Riley Tucker is a freshman Marketing major at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. She is working towards earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a minor in Retail Management.

With this degree she would like to work in the area of consumer marketing for a larger company or open her own store. Riley feels passionately about the world of small business and has seen the positive influence that individual or "brick and morter" stores have on their communities. She is interested in activities that allow interactions with many different types of people. One of her greatest and favorite achievements is when she worked as a sales associate at a local boutique. Starting at the age of 15 she grew to learn all about what it takes to run a business, market your goods, and much more. About two years later she was able to completely run the store; managing opening and closing duties, helping with the visual merchandising of the store, and even coming up with new ways to market products. This experience inspired her to come to Texas Tech University and learn even more about the world of business.
