Riley Olson

I am an aspiring Interior Designer currently attending Century College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. I am expecting to graduate in 2015 with an Assosiactes degree in Interior Design. I have loved Interior Design from a very young age, always giving design advice to family and friends. It wasn't until a year ago that I began to pursue Interior Design and it feels as if I'm home. Keeping up with trends in the Interior Design Inudstry as well as the Fashion Industry is very important to me. I am constanly drawing inspiration from current fashion that brings creative design ideas to projects I'm working on.

I attended a couple semesters at McNally Smith College of Music in Saint Paul before transfering for Interior Design and I learned so much there I wouldn't have learned anywhere else. With social media having so much of a prescence in our daily life, learning how to use it to your andvantage is a must. I learned how to use social media as a tool for marketing and promotion. Those skills are important for any industry right now.

In my spare time I enjoy going to live shows here in the Twin Cities. Recently, I have spent some time working on a couple graphic design projects which has has been a fun creative outlet. I have many interests and as of right now I'm not ready to give up on any of them so I have enjoyed dabbling in different types of projects lately.
