I'm a middle school science teacher in New Jersey. I was a computer programmer for a long time (18 years), then transitioned to teaching. Pretty much my whole family have been educators. My parents. My uncles and aunts on my Mother's side. My sister. And now my neice is going into speech pathology. It's kind of in my blood. When I was in high school (back in the dark ages when the Apple II was new) I was a teacher's assistant at a summer program for teaching teachers how to use computers in their classroom, and how to program. They told me that I was a natural and should be a teacher. I guess I should have a badge that says something like "Achievement: Teaching destiny fulfilled". :-)
