easily driven by without realising

that anything of note is to be found inside

to enter Turrell's room is to crossborder darkness and light

profoundly disoriented, smothering the eyes

staring at nothing at all, as if this is just it

and nothing more.....but a lot less!

and then suddenly, the darkness has its shadows of infinite obscurity

distances made visible by other visitors

hardly more than diffuse outlines

illuminating darkness, a vague shape

the very edge of an abyss, a space of calculated light
