Oh hey, didn’t see you there. My name is Riordan Shina and I’m a Jawja (Georgia) Bulldawg. Funny how time flies like that. It feels like just yesterday I was a wide-eyed high schooler applying to schools, not really knowing where I wanted to go or what I wanted to do. And here I am now. One semester into the best time I’ve had in my life; but I’ve found the first semester to be both the easiest and the hardest I’ll have, granted I’ve only just started the one that comes after. Off class-difficulty alone (compared to my classes this semester too, I guess), it is indisputably the easiest I’ll have, as it should be. That, however, doesn’t account for the struggle of adjusting to this magical new way of life. You can’t have the most bars per square mile and not go to them every now and then. It took a lot to go to my classes after a night out or a late night of studying, but I quickly realized how important it was to be there. If you aren’t, there’s almost a 100% chance you’ll miss something important. Dang…talking about adjusting to life at college feels really cliché. Sorry. Let’s see, what’s something fun I can talk about?... That’s right—textbook prices. Just kidding, we’ll save that for when I rant on my blog. Also kidding, I don’t run a blog. Well shoot here we are, and I haven’t even said that much about myself. It’s probably for the best though, you never know who else is reading (@the government).
