Rip Bains

After high school, where Rip Bains continued to follow his passion for photography, he decided to attend Syracuse University to hone his craft even further. He entered as a photography major and continued throughout his for years to try to find beauty in places, events, and people who most would not be able to find beauty in. Rip became extremely fascinated with the idea of beauty and what makes something beautiful- and because of this extreme interest Rip quickly decided that he wanted to study the mind a bit deeper as well and along with his degree in photography, he began studying psychology at Syracuse University as well during his Sophomore year.

Upon his graduation from Syracuse University, Rip Bains received two degrees. One was a Bachelor’s of Fine Art (B.F.A.) in photography and the other was a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. Rip graduated Magna Cum Laude and was also the recipient of the Syracuse Scholar award, one of 12 students from the entire university to achieve such an honor.
