Rishan Chen
Software Engineer in San Diego, California
I'm working at Whova Inc., a San Diego based startup company. My supervisor is Prof. Yuanyuan (YY) Zhou. Before that, I was a Ph.D student in YY's group at University of California, San Diego. Before I came to U.S., I also worked at Microsoft Research Asia as an intern under Dr. Lidong Zhou. I got my Master and Bachelor degree in Search Engine and Web Mining group, Computer Science department at Peking University, Beijing, China.
My research interests include distributed systems, cloud computing and systems, information retrieval and building big systems in general.
