Student, Architect, and Small Business Owner in atlanta, ga

When I was younger, I remember drawing houses and other buildings on notebook paper, pretending as if I was an architect. During my free time, I would always find myself doing that. From the very beginning, I always had an interest in design. However, I was not sure if I actually wanted to become an architect. With a family background in the hotel industry for over 30 years, I grew up visiting and hanging out at the hotels my family owned. I recall in my younger days, I would also pretend I was an employee at my dad’s hotels and ask the guests if they needed anything. The hospitality field instantly grew on me. I knew I wanted to go into the business field but I also thought about becoming an architect. So, combining my two interests; architecture and business, my career and long term goal is to create and start my own firm that designs homes and hotels and put the properties on the market and sell them. I would use the knowledge I gain from my real estate major in college to sell the properties and I will further my education in architecture school to design the properties.
